If you’re going to reintroduce back into your system, I would suggest doing after your lights are off. Fishes tends to be calmer when the lights are off.

I can see why @FreshSaltH2o would be upset with the situation. It doesn’t look good when @h&a is a business that just flaked on you without even to bother to contact back that they can’t make it out as agreed. A simple text to reschedule is not hard to do.

I don’t have any problem running kalk in a reactor. As for Alk and Ca consumption while dosing kalk, I have to dose additional 2 parts for my tank. In my opinion kalk is cheaper than doing CO2 scrubber just to raise PH.

According to BRS to run it with the most efficiently is to do a closed loop from the return line. I didn’t have the space under the stand so I just tapped into my manifold and have the output line exiting into the sump.
