Nope, In my opinion/ experience. Not likely lighting issue, more likely new tank and nutrients. Doesn't help that there is no coralline on plug- doesn't look like it had much chance to heal before you got it. Judging by green tint on plug and skeleton guessing elevated Phosphates and Nitrates.

This is your best bet. I'm guessing you have an external glass overflow box and the full back wall has an inner acrylic panel with teeth cut for the overflow. With the flange and gasket on the outside it will stop your leak.

I think you have the bulkheads backwards. Flange is in the display tank and nut in overflow box.
