Don't think it'll be a problem with a external controller . A way to know your tank is too cold is to look at your livestock, fish will begin to look sluggish and LPS will not extend.

Yeah hes eaten both the aiptasia and mojanos. He just ate some pink zippers and sunny ds, i have more in my sump so no biggie. He hasnt been eating the pellets , I stopped by aarons store just to pick up he spectrum pellets like u suggested.
