My dam wiener kids took the new sponge out of the bag to put it in the tank... It's an orange fan sponge, but I heard if they touch air they die. Is this true, is the new guy dead already, anything I can do to help? how long with it take to see change if it's dying... or dead.

I was just curious about a few things... I have a rose bubble tip anemone... had it for about 2 months. It used to be a bubbly like normal but now it has fanned out around a huge area and the tentacles are really long and thin? that bad or good or normal? (newer with anemones). it looks healthy...

All i really know about sponges is that they don't really like a lot of light or flow. can i get a little more info? Saw an amazing Orange one for cheap at the LFS. Would like to get it.. are they hard? feeding? etc.. I have some corals and anemones. possible "nippers" a foxface..
