    BanShea Reactors

Does anyone have contact info or know if they are still in business? I got a couple of used ones and I love them. The top fitting is a 1/2 slip instead of the hose barbs like most reactors. It makes it really easy to take on and off with unions without any fear of leaks. I would love to order a...

    6 months Reagent $59?

I had no idea I could buy them that big! Thanks for sharing this. I have been using them since this thread started and they work perfectly. Happy to buy in bulk with the second system almost up and running.

Jake Adams of Reef Builders has passed away.

Can't believe his wife is 9 weeks pregnant with their first. Just when you thought it couldn't get more sad. Hopefully the go fund me gives them a little help.

Brand New AI Hydra 64 (black)

I can't believe they haven't sold yet. The one I got from you is amazing on my 50g cube tank. Did you get the new tank setup where you moved to?

    WTB Pods

Anyone breeding any local? Thought I would ask before ordering from Algae Barn. If no one local is breeding I might start. What they give now for the cost is crazy compared to the old days. Thanks!

I'm in Long Beach too. Down to split the cost with you if you fine one. I just got water in my new tank and I would love to PAR map it early on. LMK.

Anyone else decide to start over due to Aiptasia?

Also, I just remembered. If you are not risk adverse and removing the rock is easy, a blow torch (or lighter if you are not as fun) Also kills them in a few seconds.

Anyone else decide to start over due to Aiptasia?

I had a pretty severe problem with them about 12 years ago. When the population is huge, a biological solution is just to slow as the aiptasia seem to out breed the biological solutions, or it just takes to long. What did work for me was injecting the foot of the anemone with boiling lemon...

    87 degrees

Sucks man. It just sucks. When things get stable come over to Long Beach and I will give you some frags. I have a couple I need to clear and I can cut a few more if you like stuff I don't have frags. I won't get you to where you were, but I can get you a few to start back up. Who knows maybe...

    ATO FOR ON THE GO

IIRC doing the continuous refill from the RODI unit is going to be bad for the RODI filters. You will want to program times for it. Maybe have it refill the bucket once a day or something like that. Also, I would make sure there is a fail safe in case there is something with the tank that...

    Anyone make their own sump?

I am just not happy with sump options for my waterbox 220.6 so I am considering making my own. I was thinking of using the PVC board and adding in some acrylic windows to view skimmer level and return pump chamber. I like the PVC board option as it seems easier to keep clean and it has shown to...

    Fritz Salt

Age of Aquarium in Long Beach usually has it in stock. I'm not sure if Reef Lounge in Norco sells it. I don't know of many places out by you.
