He's probably trying to eat them. I have 3 fairy wrasses that follow my hand around while it's in the tank...they're waiting for a bristle to get stirred up so they can eat it.

Are they big bristle worms? My wrasses eat them all the time with no issues.

Great shot. This is one of my favorite wrasses, next on my hit list. I picked up a Katherine's wrasse this weekend, already eating pellets but haven't been able to get a good picture of it yet.

Even if you're not ready to add them, go to Seaside Tropical ASAP. They had several nice angels, dwarf and regulars, when I was there on Sunday.

I would get another pump of some sort and try to run it behind your rock structure. I have smaller version of that tank and the areas around the overflow box tend to have a lot of dead areas. With as much rock as you have you don't want those areas to turn into detritus traps.

What brands were you dosing vs what you're dosing now? Possibly better purity? Also, how long has it been since your alk stabilized when learning the 2 part? My stuff gets pissy when I have an alk swing from 9-10.5 if I do a large water change....sometimes it can take a couple weeks to several...

My water is similar to yours, good sediment filter, carbon block for chloramine removal and regular carbon before the membrane. You should be fine with 1 DI canister.
