The height is fine. It's the width that I find a little limiting. May not be an issue for you. As for the thickness of the glass you can try asking the seller for the thickness and comparing it to any at the LFS. Or try asking at nano-reefs.com cause there's a few people there with that tank.

The 24 and 30 definitely looks great but I find the width of them too shallow. At 11" width for the display dims there's really not a lot room left on the sand bed after the rocks. That's why I decided to have one custom built with similar dims but at 16" for the width. Plenty of room for corals...

What does everyone think about 40" high for a stand. Tank is 15" high. I measure it and at this height there's minimal bending when looking at the tank. Just having difficulty imaging how it will look aesthetically being that high.

I have one of those six fan units that clips on the tank rim. It's overkill for my 22g cause even with my 250w mh and 96w t5 on this can still take my tank down to mid 70s.
