    What LED should I get?????

I was in the exact same boat you are in right now. I had the same budget in mind and almost went crazy trying to pick a good led for my tank. After doing an extensive amount of research I decided to try T5 lighting. I had led lights before although they are very nice and easy to work with. The...

    Majano anemone?

Just based off of the color its reflecting it looks like a feather duster to me. Looks like you have colonies of them. Tiny snails that pop their heads in and out of the tube like structure. The top of their heads are gold with neon feathers, but its kinda hard to tell in this picture.

    Is my anemone dead.

As long as your anemone is still attached to the rock then you are fine. It does look irritated though based off of the picture I'm a +1 on the Carbon. I have used it before and it works great. Water change is good because it helps anemone flush out toxins. It sounds like the puffer may have...

    Coral placement advise

I use to have my Candy Cane coral up high with high light and high flow. From experience this wasn't the best placement. Trumpet corals like mid light and low-moderate flow so they can fully expand. When in high flow they don't fully expand and it prevents them from growing. My Trumpets are...

Using epoxy under water with livestock

I was kinda surprised to. Epoxy is supposed to be reef safe in small quantities. The epoxy released a milky substance that I think had some poisonous effect (it turned my damsel a purple color and he lost a piece of his back fin (he swims funny)). It for sure isn't my water because I had just...

Using epoxy under water with livestock

Good Idea! I have never used carbon in my tank before, i do have about seven pounds of lava rock in my sump though, does it work the same way? Titanwerx I used about 1/4 of the tube.

Using epoxy under water with livestock

Yesterday was the biggest mistake I have done since I started this hobby. I ran out of reef glue so I ran to my local petco to purchase the Fluval Sea epoxy. I have never used this brand before. I had 5 new mini colonies I was going to put in my tank and decided to do that all at one time. The...
