When I first setup my tank and added a clown fish. My cat wanted a better look, so he jumped on my back as I was working on the tank, and then jumped into the tank. Water went every where. Now the cat wont even look at the tank. I don't think he liked the taste of salt water.
If your coming down to orange county, go to 405 tropical fish. Once there buy $ 5 dollars worth of live black worms. My copperband loves them along with the rest of my fish. I have been using live black worms since I started this hobby.
I had my dragon pipe fish for 3 years in my reef tank. She lives with a huge chevron tang, clowns, cbb, and wrasses with out any problems. She also eats small pellets for the win.
Peroxide will work for bubble algae, but you have to remove the rock and spray it with peroxide. Let it site for a few minutes and wash off with salt water. Make sure you do all your rock work that has bubble algae on it, or it will come back. Do not get it on any sps it will kill them so I...
They also live in your live rock and will eat coral as well. I have found two ways to get them out. One of them is a hammer and the other is peroxide, which still might require a hammer to get them out.
