Your airline is attached to a pump making the skimmer draw air in to get it to work so, you would want to run the airline that is attached to pump to outside of your wall, house whatever is in the way.

Is your bubble tip really a bubble tip anemone? When I purchase my RBTA it was a bubble tip at the LFS. It stayed that way for a couple of days then became a ramen like noodle never a bubble tip anymore. Well.... I see couple of pic post for same RBTA and they all look a like a ramen noodle...
