I've cadlight skimmer and it seems they're set to work better in low water. I've 30L sump now with the water level of 9" + this isn't the problem for me though... my skimmer is too wide and it's barely fits inside the sump area and how the cad is designed is that you need to turn body to adjust...

no, all you need is one pump... if you have strong return pump you can T off of it and maybe you can run this if it's strong enough just need to re do the plumbing

All I need is a small valve on output to adjust the flow to Display tank. Total cost is around $75.00 without the sicce pump but I had to make several trips to homedepot Source.... Home Depot , Amazon, local acrylic store.
