    Doubtful more legitimate LFS will open down there.. The retail rent is 2-3x versus the north OC average. Plus they are hardcore about zoning down there so retail must be retail and LFS can't get away with opening in a commercial/industrial.

    Peppermint are generally scavengers and night feeders in a tank... I put them in an acclimation box, whenever I had plugs full of aptasia, I would throw it in with them and within 10 minutes, its aptasia free. As for peppermint running free, I'm not a fan because when they don't get feed well...

    The black is ABS i think and is more aesthetic but it looks good while blocking escaping pink light from glowing in the room. White PVC would more ideal to recycle all the escaping light. White will reflect over 80% of the light back while black will absorb most of the light that hits it.

    A while to get that far. Its so dense that the cheato started swirling the ends. It was well OVERDUE for trimming. I lightly packed it, now light can barely penetrate. This thing works great, it also screens detritus. The more detritus get stuck in their, the faster it grows.
