Thank you for your inquiry. The probe should be rehydrate in RO for 3 hours. The calibration should be done after its been hydrated again. Normally if its a lab grade probe it should be replaced everything 2 years. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

    Apex Conductivity

I realized that all of my probes were left out of water/calibration fluid/conductivity fluid for the time that I have had my tank down. It's been close to a year. I know I have to replace me pH probes. I was curious if the same applied to my conductivity probe?

Should I wait until August to start my tank? To avoid the heat? Or should I just go for it? I reduced the amount of pumps in my system. I will only have my return pump, skimmer pump, and 2 mp40s. I had a return pump, skimmer pump, carbon reactor pump, biopellet reactor pump, and calcium...

    AI Vega converted to 52s

I think I will do it. I will upgrade 1 at a time. Looks easy enough. I hope it helps significantly. I plan on doing sps this time around. I just recently got my second mp40. This one is the quiet drive. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

    AI Vega converted to 52s

Has anyone done it? Are 52s strong enough for LPS or sps? I know vega's were good for softies and anemones. Any help would be great. Debating doing the upgrade. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

I will be re-setting up my 80 gallon reef tank soon...

it has been a long process. I am anxious to start the tank. But one thing I have learned from my past experiences... patience. I bleached my rocks by letting them sit outside on my balcony. One thing i didn't do was rinse off my rock after a few months. I didn't rinse them off until I...

Ok, first week in salt water complete. Dr. Tim's the one and only put in the trash can with the rock. Ammonia (the bottle that comes with the one and only) drops added to the trash can as well. Hopefully they wont take long to cycle. Once the cycle is complete, do I continue to add ammonia...

    Finally arrived

James, Thanks for hooking it up on most of the plumbing parts for my new manifold. I have the BP reactor now, just need pump and new sump. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

90 gallon, another question I had was, where did you get the plumbing parts? the ones to the biopellet reactor, quick connect, the whole nine?

i think i am going to follow the same type of plumbing in my tank. Just need to get a new sump, new return pump (thinking sicce 4.0), and i want that aquamaxx biopellet reactor.
