Update All fish are finally in after full qt and added my old clam that went from a measly 5" in my old tank to 10" in a buddies tank. I had to shoehorn it in but the 135rimless cube goes up next week.

I've found that constantly leaving it plugged in is the issue. Much like leaving your smartphone plugged in too long used to screw your battery up. Ecotech hasn't caught up to the technology. Just unplug it when you're home and let it run through its charge. Seems to help in my experience...

I guess when they get big enough they self reproduce. Kind of cool but I guess my tank will become a tube anemone tank if I don't start removing these things.
