Researching rodi units. My water district is MNWD is Orange County. We have high tds and chloramines. Do I need a unit with 2 di chambers ? Spectra pure has a unit for high chloramines, is that necessary?

Read about brs reef saver, real reef rock and rock 2.1. Sounds like a great but the price is so much higher and they seem to weigh more than real rock. I also like the look of real pukani. Any lfs in OC carry these rocks in stock so I could compare them?

120g with 40g sump. 4' head, 1" durso drain. Figure I need about 600gph for the drain size. Had bought a Jebao Dcs 12000 and it was like a waterfall. Looking at Dcs 4000 or 5000 but difficult to interpret graphs. What are others using for similar tank/drain?

Testing new tank. Filled up to overflow. Filled sump to level across all compartments. Turned on pump to 4/10 and water level dropped in pump compartment to top of pump. Should I add more water to sump?

Was testing my plumbing and discovered a leak at the return bulkhead. The return pvc line must have come loose during the move I can actually pull it out of the bulkhead. Can I use pvc cement to make it stay?

Recently my toadstool and some of my gsp don't extend their polyps as much. The change coincided with new PC bulbs I installed in this 24g nano cube. You can see in the pics the gsp toward the back of the tank is fully out. Could it just be the light? I do water changes every week.
