Not even close. It's a function of surface area and the velocity of the air. Your DT likely has at least double the surface area and the velocity will be higher since there isn't a bunch of crap in the way to slow down the air.

If you do decide to drill on your own, a good tip is to drill from the inside, that way if you do get a chip at the end of the cut it will not be on the gasket (sealing) side.
