    Free SPS frags!

yeah, I'm pretty sure my tank may be exit-only for a while. I do have a sweet monti-digi coming, but other than that, I'm still trying to figure out what may have to move along the road. although, moving these palys may make some more room...

    PH Buffer?

also, IMO buffers should never really be used. you want to supplement alk via carbonate and bicarbonate. some of the buffers use borate IIRC and, besides being more expensive than baking soda, screw with your ionic balance.

    PH Buffer?

no, do not do this. depending on the compound, you will likely have at least some precipitation which defeats the purpose of supplementing as well as would screw with other parameters.

    Free SPS frags!

Derek--I also have some palys for you if you'd like, and I think some were yours at some point back in MN... teal/blue with a yellow dot at the mouth sound familiar? matt(hypertech) sent me a few that have grown insanely fast. Anyway, I have those and some nice pink ones with twisty skirts...

    Free SPS frags!

no pics because I can't find my camera. a couple rules--show me a pic of your tank and don't sell this right away. Be willing to frag back to me if my tank crashes. Be nice to other reefers. Frags are small but very healthy. I have a few to give away: Red planet--base encrusting part from...

no reported deaths due to lionfish stings. I've been stung--it hurts, but not fear-for-your-death kinda pain.

    shark???

sharks need pretty high water quality and make a hell of a mess. They're also sensitive to infection, so a decent sized UV is advisable. Most of the appropriate sharks for aquariums of this size are pretty inactive, which leads to a pretty boring tank. JMO

    WTB Protein Skimmer

I will likely have an aqua-c remora w/maxi1200 in a week to two weeks. $75, and IMO a much better skimmer than the prizm. I'm in Tustin. Free frags if you want to try an SPS, too.

    Alkalinity

wait, stop supplementing. do a water change if it's high enough to be in the danger zone... check your Ca and Mg, get those to NSW levels. IMO don't worry if it's not over 14 (edit: 14 dKh).

    easiest sps coral

colonies will have a harder time adapting... switching tanks for a colony can kill it much easier than a frag. Best is to grow out from frags/small colonies.

    RODI specialist

also, for RODI, Bulk reef supply seems to have the best prices on the RODI I would really trust to continually produce good quality RODI long term. I'd research purewaterclub.com more before buying their stuff.

    RODI specialist

that's .50 for D&D salt-very pricey stuff. IO can cost 1/2 that, which drops your .39 in half... also, that .09 would be a one-time purchase, and drop for each time you replace membranes... figure long term maybe 1/2 that if you do it right and buy in bulk. Also, you need to factor in that...
