There are several home remedies that may work such as toothpaste. Goggle it …..

If you can't feel the scratch with your finger nail, it can be fixed. If you can feel it, then its too deep.

Go see a head shrink first !

I believe I read a thread on another forum, stating he used the flipper and it scratched up his acrylic tank… So be careful…..

I really don't think so. As long as you are not leaving it in the tank, and don't keep using once it starts to fall apart, we should be ok.

I would like to see more Reef discussing, coral , fish ect. and a lot less off topics :)

I also try and keep it under 0.10. More important keep it stable… Thats why I like large tanks, easier to do :)

I do small 5 gallon w/c every 5 days or so. Smaller and more often is better IMO. Keeps things more stable....
