I used the flatworm exit with no ill effect on the corals in the tank. Changed the sock a few hours after treatment then did a water change, no problem. Never to be seen again. Good Luck

You do the opposite of what i do, i have not checked alk in quite a while, but keep the ph at 8.0-8.2. absolutely agree about the stability comment. I have had ph at low 7's for months before using the pin point monitor with no issues in the tank, as long as it is stable.

White light at lights off to avoid enhanced coloring. Tips and polyps are purple, skin is a beige green. Other frags Can have a deeper green flourescent but the Purple tips are consistent. Really stands out under lighting.

No red bugs, plenty of flow too. Like i mentioned the night PE is great, day PE is what im trying to get. cant feed during the day...

Thats another option that i will try, unfortunateley i cant feed during the day but i can try to skim less, then again that may affect my water quality. My schedule for work does not allow for me to day feed so feeding will have to remain at night..... perhaps with the skimmer off????? I will...

Ran MH for years, prefer Led once you find the right config for your tank. Color and growth for me has improved. Love not running a chiller and having a hot room

If i understand you right the tissue is receding from the base up, or out to the rest of it.... this happened to me so i scraped a line of tissue in front of where it was receding (like a fire line containment). the receding will end at where the line is, and then coral will heal and grow back...
