how much are you upgrading from? I've moved from a 25 to a 40. Kept the sand, rocks, and water. Moved everyone in same day and I didn't lose anything. Just have to make sure to be careful when moving the sand because all that old stuff is going stir up. Also throw in some bottled bacteria...
