Has anyone used tap water with prime then mixed salt water for a hospital tank? Is it okay since I don't care about Tds and nutrient levels?

I just got an inline di filter and it seems to work okay so far. I tested the di water for Tds. It was 0. I tested for phosphates and it registered about . 25. Is there resin out there that will remove the phosphates?

Anyone use rid-ich+? I hear it can be used on inverts? What dosing schedule do you use? Do you follow the water changes it requires?

That's what I read somewhere else but I saw white spots on my cleaner shrimp. I tried to blow it off him and it wouldn't come off.
