LOL. that was the first search i did and there are tons of flattened algaes with blue color. As you can see in the pics i already removed it and put it in a specimen container, as i think any macro will quickly smother corals if left unchecked. and, yes it completely smothered the zoa rock...

After scouring the web, about the closest thing to it is Fauchea laciniata, but that is just a guess. Its real pretty. blue even without the tank lights on. maybe I'll set up a little nano to grow it out.

I dont have any kind of reference that covers macro, wondering if anyone can ID this for me. Thanks in Advance

Thanks, thats what i thought too. Ive called them zipper zoas cause they look like pink zippers but the colony is really tiny. You can see how many are on the top of a 3/4 in frag plug.
