Very cool, hopefully they don't have any long term problems. I used to breed snakes and a lot of the hybrids that they would come out with would have a lot of problems later on. But then again, snakes are nothing like fish.

Looks good man. Yeah eventually Id like to build my own stand and possibly a canopy for my 10 gallon so thats why Id like to do something other than the par38 bulbs, but who knows.

Yeah I have thought about it but cost is a big factor in this project. And most of the par38's Ive seen are at least $100 each so if I can do a DIY build with one of these kits it will probably cost me under $150. Do you have any pictures of your 10 gal?
