I disagree with this statement about Leemar. I just received a 130g, eurobraced, starphire tank from them and it is built beautiful. I am extremely happy with the quality of this tank. I ordered it through AquaSD.

with a show like MACNA, the costs are all about sponsors, which would include exhibitors. Think about it...typically for MACNA tickets, they start out at $89 - $99 for a full conference pass. That includes all speakers, a hosted reception with food, drinks, and entertainment on Friday night...

Having MACNA in SoCal would probably help the other shows, not hurt them. MACNA would not be happening down here every year so long term effects could only be positive. If you just wanted a temperature controller, I would get a Ranco. They are about $80. Your smartest move would be to get a Reefkeeper Lite or Apex Jr. as stated here. A few bucks more than the Ranco but far more versatile.

Just have to throw in my two cents as well. Nothing but exceptional service from MD. I will continue buying stuff from them based almost solely on their service. Adn in my opinion, their prices on many items is extremely good.
