Update 3/8/11 So a little update: Hair algae is beyond excessive, and very annoying. Removing about 3-4 cups (dry measure) of algae every 2 weeks. We have been having this issue since November....and we have tried GFO, reduced feeding, and different foods, removed the MH and changed to 8X54w...

Mine has a "little bit" of color, but hard to tell in these pics. The little offshoot on the left side of the frag has grown, maybe 1/32"....Other than that, it is still here, has all of its flesh, just hasn't changed much. Good luck to everyone who is still going!!!

Have you tried a power outage test? Just wanted to make sure you aren't going to get too much drainage into your sump with that piping. I know on our fuge, which is only 10gal, we have some drainage that we had to account for. Looks good, and should help a lot with filtration. And pods, lots...

Did you get a chance to try to get him out? We had one about a month ago, and we used a target feeder with boiling hot vinegar, as if we were nuking Aiptasia...he came right out, picked him up with tweezers...I understand they can get pretty long, if you don't get them out of the tank...
