It's definitely different than any local show. More manufacturers there (and big names), lots of dry goods, and a nice selection of livestock. Big name speakers too.

When the RMS is mounted on a rimless tank, how tall does it sit above the edge of the tank? (to the top of the RMS itself) I'm trying to figure out how much overhead clearance I would need if I used one of these. I have seen dimensions for the mount saying it's ~12" high, but I assume that is...

I talked with Crystal Dynamics too. Nothing too special and their silicone was pretty sloppy. I picked up a frag tank that I had Precision Aquariums build. They did a great job - definitely worth stopping by their booth to see their tanks & stands. Their mitered corners are a cool touch!

CADlights had a deal on a nearly turnkey 42g for $470 (I think it is their Nuvo). Tank, stand, sump, ATO, pump & I think skimmer - no light)
