    Suggestions for getting Sunny D's to spread...

    try placing them very close to another type of zoa, 1/2" or less maybe even touching, usually if I have a slow grower I do this, and they sprout new heads within the next few weeks. I also use this trick when I frag, it seems the zoas go into overdrive and try to compete with the others.

    I used to do 5 gal water changes every week on my 34gal red sea max, about six months ago I switched to 5 gals every two weeks (got lazy I guess). My nitrates have actually dropped since then (from about 10ppm, to 5ppm) since changing less.
