generally speaking, mantis shrimp will kill and eat fish so therefore cannot be kept with them. but you always get those weirdos that will leave them alone...for the most part. i had a mantis with fish for months and then one day he decided to go after all of them. so you'll definitely be taking...

it's a carnation coral and they need constant feeding, it'll just end up dying in your tank. don't know why lfs still sell them, such a waste.

+1 on fire urchin, but i think they only go after coralline once there's no algae in the tank for them to munch on.

i have 2 tivo dual tuners for sale, series 2. switched to time warner cable and using their dvr now, tivo is sooo much better but just can't justify the cost. both boxes are in perfect physical and working condition and come with the remotes. asking $40 each. pm me if you're interested :)...

i think 24 cree leds over your rsm will be plenty, i've got a 135 that's 24" deep, plus my fictures are hung about 1ft over the tank and each one is a 24 cree fixture from rapidled. so it really should be plenty, and you can probably ditch the lighting it came with, it's only going to cost you...
