    Tank Rebuild

Dunno if this is an option, but, I've found doors can be a hassle, especially to guard against scratches etc. and they can warp out of shape over time due to moisture. Could you design it with panels that lift off? Then you'd only need a bracket, no hinge, and still have ease of access. Downside...

Wish me luck guys, Tank Move coming up.

Sounds like you've made it through the worst part if it. Thanks for posting the process and for Nick's comment about not moving the sandbed. In retrospect, I'm wondering if the issues I had a while back from a big move might have been because I did move the sandbed. Good to know . . . Still a...

What is the best way to "CYCLE" a Reef Tank?

Great suggestions about cycling. I agree with live rock and patience as being the key. And, over course, the bigger the tank the better!!!

    Upgrading to a bigger tank!

What do you guys think of isolating the rock separately, presuming they are in the rock, stop any type of nutrient then put in a tube trap to draw the worm to a food source? I've heard that helps catch them, but not done it myself.

Hey Bruindave, How is it looking now? After reading the thread, I'm curious about how it is sizing up.

    Egg crate under rocks?

While I've tried a couple of things, seems like I always reverted to sand. The sand helps protect the glass from rock (as a piece portion will fall at some point), prevents build up of unwanted waste and is easier to clean/sift without an underlying substrate.
