+1 I'm a firm believer in the Redfield ratio. I now control my phosphates and nitrates by dosing one or the other. If my nitrates get high i feed more than normal. If my phosphates get high i dose potassium nitrate. Works every time and no need to spend on expensive gfo.

i have an old Bubble Magus BM-T01 and it will not dose if you do not push esc until the timer shows up. I found out the hard way when my alk dropped significantly when i left it at the set up pump menu for a couple days. Not sure if the newer models have changed.

After you enter the dose amount it should display "saving....." Once its done saving it should display "set up 1-3" Hit esc and it should read "loading..... and then the time will show up. If you don't hit esc til the time shows up it will not dose.

Sorry to hear about your tank. I'm sure you have a lot of people checking their seams including me. I have an identical tank from Leemar. Any visible defects in the seams before it started leaking? How old was the tank?

One last thing. Have you recently rerouted any wires connected to your Apex? I keep my ph probe wires away from any other wires yet i still get interference by as much as 2.3 Easy test. Turn off all lights and pumps and see if you immediately get a different ph reading.

Your ph is much more stable then mine. Maybe i need to replace the probe.

maybe has to do with the weather? My ph has jumped up to 8.73 this week when it usually reds 8.25 I shut down my calcium thinking maybe i raised my alk too much but it has not changed my ph reading since then.

+1 on 100% vinegar. Buy 3-4 one gallon jugs and empty into a empty 5 gallon bucket. I've used the same vinegar for a year and I still cleans coraline after a couple of hours soak.
