    WTB: a hydrometer or Refractometer

If you get a refractometer, pick up some Pinpoint 53.0mS salinity calibration solution, cost about $5 or so. It's much more accurate calibrating a refractometer to 35 ppt (1.0264) than 0 considering a possible error slope back to 1.026.

    WTB: Nutramar Ova

I would definitely try the NutraMar OVA, many people do report sucess with feeding it to Mandarins. Maybe try Argent Cyclopese (frozen stick) and live brine also. Other options but costly would be Reef Nutritions live tiger pods or their artic pods.

    WTB: Nutramar Ova

I got some from Ali, about $10 a pack. It's very dense and last a long time. My leopard wrasse loves it along with all my other fish. I don't have a mandarin but Ali feeds it to the mandarins in his store.

    Protein Skimmer

For a 90g w/ little SPS I would look into a Warner Marine unit which is priced about the same as ASM and EuroReef but better construction. If you can spend more, other options are Octopus Extreme, SWX, ATB small, BM 160 or 200.

    RO/DI Purchase Questions

MaxCap is the best. IMO the 180 GPD is worth the extra $50-$60 bucks since the hand selected membranes on their own run around $95. For replacement filters you'll want to change the sediment and carbon block every 4-6 months. The first DI should be changed when the output is around 6 TDS I...

A Crazy Idea I had About A New Reef Tank...

FWIW... I had a 172g bowfront and hated it. The curved front puts a strain on the eye. I would go flat panels on all sides!. You'll want to go at least 1.5" acrylic or thicker... I would consult with James at Envision Acrylics on the spec. http://www.envisionacrylics.com/index.html

    Where to buy Refractometer

You can get a refractometer from Marine Depot. They have one on sale for $39.99. Also get the Pinpoint 53.0mS solution for calibrating it to 1.0264, this cost $5.00. If you have liverock and/or corals in your display then hypo would not be an option. Best bet is to set up a QT tank and due...

    Buying Camera

Canon & Nikon are both great cameras. The lense body sizes are different, so when you pick one and start collecting lenses, you'll probably stay with that make for awhile. Brock is right on... the lense will make the camera. Get a nice macro lense, you might want to repost looking for a good...
