Heheh.. I was planning on doing the same with mine. Got a hella deal on it so it woudnt hurt to chop it to 36" and have a couple of pieces left over to make more lights :D I was hoping yours was a 36" so I wouldnt havta butcher mine. Good luck with the sale. It's an awesome light!
