Arm and hammer yes! It's best to mix with a rodi first and spread it out if ur dosing heavy.

I make a gallon at a time with rodi water, 2 1/2 cup or small box of arm & hammer baked at 350 for an hour to remove the co2. By doing so becomes soda ash and increases your ph as its dosed it, so I dose my alk at night to help balance ph.

I wouldn't dose anything but ca alk mg and the trace elements is added via WC. Since u feed a lot I would forget about AA or anything else. Your fish poops all the food your corals need. Your water changes provides all the nutrients your coral needs. Is that simple enough?

Keep in mind there is nothing like having water on hand in case an emergency arises and they happen weekly lol.

I run it fairly fast the first 10-20 min to get the fines out and run it through a sock at slow 6-7 gph also. It takes about three days before All the fines are out IME then I pull the sock.

Wicked, I agree 100%. I stayed a few weeks after to give them a hand and to do some local fishing and man! If I could buy a reef for our local waters I would invest in it. The reefs had hundreds of fish and I could see 10 diff species at almost every site we hit. Now if I had the right capital...

Sorry to disapoint but zero coral info. The show doesnt even deal much with fisheries. Kinda disapointing given the title of the show. However they do build mini reefs out of clams shells, rocks, gravel and a special cement mix. The story with the reefs is private parties and government purchase...

It's about building artificial reefs to help the environment down in orange beach. It's a pretty interesting way to earn a Irving that's for sure. It has nothing to do with coral propagation or the marine ornament industry but does help the fisheries and fishing out there. It's what we should...

iPhone macro adapters do work fairly well. I purchased the kit while on a job and got the ,macro wide and fish eye.
