    Rose Anemones for sale. Sherman's

What are the distinguishing characteristics of Shermans? Are they just red bubble tips (with no green whatsoever)?

    GlennF's 300 gallon mixed reef.

What is that blue stag? Looks awesome

    Clearview lids

They're definitely a luxury purchase given their cost, but also a material upgrade on stock or DIY lids in terms of both functionality and appearance. They're a good splurge, but if you're on a budget, dollars are better allocated elsewhere.

What do you use to mount your frags?

I use super glue gel - dollar stores carry two packs of 0.12 oz tubes (though pretty much everything in dollar stores costs in excess of a dollar now). I don't think super glue has a shelf life, so it's OK to buy there. Much cheaper than buying at places like Home Depot, etc.

    Sps frags

If you're inclined to make the trip to Mission Viejo, I'd be happy to make you a pack of 5-6 acro frags at $10 per.

    Jimbo’s CDA 250

This is good advice. Information is the best weapon against dino's and I think you'll find that half measures don't work. If you indeed have dino's, it's likely to be a multi-week/month solution. Otherwise it will likely be a chronic problem.

This tank is a stunner! Congrats on a dynamite display!

Matt's Cade Peninsula 1800 Mixed Reef

Eventually I intend to post more about the history of this build, but in the meantime wanted to share some recent photos. While there are a couple issues to iron out, everything is humming along nicely!

    FS/FT: Large Pink Cadillac Colony

Bump; asking price slashed. I have some inexpensive acropora frags available too, to make the trip more worthwhile. Green Slimer, PC Rainbow, Garf Bonsai, Rainbow Granulosa, Frogskin.

    Our new Build

Looking forward to watching the progression of your build! Congrats on the new home and tank! Depending on how PAR readings come out, you might consider supplementing the Kessils with a couple AI blades or ReefBrite strips to even out the coverage.

    Anyone acquire and sell fish?

Contact Adam at Ocean Devotion. I believe he offers non-quarantined fish and can get just about anything with a bit of lead time.

    Jimbo’s CDA 250

Good luck in your battle with dino's! I support the kitchen sink approach that you're taking - I also employed most of those tactics in concert along with a few other suggestions I'll lay out below. Take it all with a grain of salt, as I'm not certain that they will prove useful, but I took...

    FS/FT: Large Pink Cadillac Colony

In an effort to reduce shadow casting and to freshen things up, I'm cutting out some large pieces of acropora. First to go is this big chunk of Pink Cadillac - it's about 8" by 6" in a nice tabling shape. Asking $125 obo. Or trade for a couple higher end acro frags or goni frags. Located in...

What PAR are SPS reefers running?

I run about 400 PAR towards the top and about 200 down on the sandbed. That's on a six foot tank with 3 XR30's at 55% point intensity and 4 60" Reefbrite strips at full intensity.

FS: Quarantined Copperband Butterfly eating Aiptasia

This is such a good deal/opportunity, I'm shocked no one has taken you up on it. Good luck with the sale!

CUC: Hermit Crabs… Yay or Nay?

I like to have a small handful of hermits to eat detritus in pockets that snails can't access. I favor the scarlet hermits, because I think they're more visually appealing than blue claws, though they are typically about 200% more expensive. The big caveat is that hermits are omnivores and...

    Keeping Sand Bed Clean?

I use a combination of Nassarius Snails and Fighting Conches for a biological solution, though sand sifting stars are also a good choice for larger tanks. The best solution though, in my opinion, is the occasional syphon vacuum as part of regular water changes.
