From the amount of eggs there you have a full blown infestation. They only lay a couple eggs strands at a time. From the looks of it you have had em for quite a few months. Not just a month or two.

If you have a sump buy 3 chocolate chip starfish. Cut one leg off at a time. Feed every 3days to a week. You will need a razor blade and a hammer to cut the starfish leg with one clean cut n try to stay at least one node out from the mouth. I kept a pair for over a year that way. Hope that...
