Try and get the tank with water and filtration set up as soon as possible because waiting for that to finish cycling is the worst part. Good to get a jump on that so by the time you know what you want to stock your tank with, your tank will have the right params and will be ready to take on...

No. That guy never ended up getting the corals. Still have everything except the Tailspot. Now going for $180 for the whole setup.

I have searched the forum and couldn't find anything. I have been messing with all kinds of settings in Manual mode of my T3i but still can't seem to shoot normal looking photos of corals under just actinic lights. Can someone explain how to do this correctly?

You can try attaching a small bottle tightly packed with filter floss to the intake part of your return pump with holes cut in the bottle for water to pass through. This video gave me the idea: http://youtu.be/DXDzgM9x3tc

LMAO at "sans weiner" I have never had bristleworms big enough to pull out and kill. I imagine the quickest and most humane way to kill them is to literally stomp em out with something, however cruel that may sound (not to get into a debate about euthanasia).

This may sound like a dumb question (not to hijack the thread), but is the standard RO/DI unit able to be shut off easily if I plan on only making about 10-15 gallons a day at most?
