    Dot or feather? I think the only thing I bought new for my tank in the last 5 years was 3X 6105’s and 2X 6’ reef brights. I think everything else is used, even the fish. Oh, Kalk reactor and carbon doser bought new too.

    If those AB 14K DE are anything like the AB SE, you are going to want a lot of supplemental blue. I loved the AB SE 14k when I could get them.

    It’s been almost 2 months since I changed the filter floss in my 225 tank. I have 2 cups and return flow is about 1K GPH. I peeked at it 3 weeks ago and it looked clean, yesterday morning it was white but with these things growing in it. They look like maggots but I think they are sponges...

    Like @joseserrano said, run 24 X 7 but really, UV is a bandaid, most tanks aren’t having these issues and aren’t running UV. I’d figure out what the issue is. How old is the tank?

    I loved mine (RIP). Very tempting but I think I will pass. My vlaminge would insist I give her belly rubs. Any time I was working in the tank she would come over to me and just lay patiently for me to pet her. Such a great fish!!!

    I’m pretty tied up through the weekend, maybe next week? I’ve had a few people stop by last weekend. None have commented in this thread but I believe they were all thrilled with what they got And what they paid.
