Curious do you feed anything special for your copperbands and how long have you had them?

Definitely overkill but I took into consideration that I wasn't going to stack them or keep detritus off of them. I do shack them out once a month (a few days before water change) and they are filthy

I'm running 24 liters (25mm) and I have a water volume of 160 about.. you are suppose to stack them vertical and keep them detritus free which I do neither. :)
