yeah ive got vivid tdf as well and it looks pretty different, structure of mine is quite different but this piece is still pretty **** sweet. id defenitely hold onto it and see what it becomes, looks like it has great potential! :]

I've got a buddy that runs his tank with only weekly water changes from the local saltwater tap along with acro power and he gets great growth, i notice it every time i stop by his house!

I've always been a fan of live rock and have used it in my current sump and overflow of my other previous cube tanks. Also we use live rock in all the sumps at work so my vote goes to live rock on this one. i can't speak of any experiences with that product though as I've never seen it before
