cool but blech

So, I've been running a W. Lim Wave pump for years on my 200 gallon tank. It pumps 52 gallons a minute, reduced by head, kalk reactor, etc. I'm thinking of doing to a DC pump and wondering what people think about making the change and what pumps I should look at??? TIA Mark

I change from my refugium 20 gallons. Siphon out detritus and dump in new water. Since there is a slow return from the refugium it alters the tank chemistry slowly.

Since they fail, no check valve but, make sure your sump can handle the water when the pump is off, duh...
