Jebao's new DCP series return pumps?

Right. In the meantime, I will run them in the barrel regardless since my tank is not set up. If there is a mechanical defect, I'd rather it become known before I plumb it into the system 1-2 months from now.

Jebao's new DCP series return pumps?

My DCP pumps will be here on Friday. I'll throw them in a barrel of freshwater and run them for a month.

    My new fish room :)

It's amazing all the effort that goes into this hobby. I'm in process of setting up my 1st reef tank. I have to do like 10 projects just to get to setting up the actual tank. It's fun tho.

Considering this light for my next build. Anyone else use this company?

The light looks physically similar to my Reefbreeders Photon-W. https://www.reefbreeders.com/shop/photon-32-w/ Probably made by the same people.

    Flow meters

This looks like it might work. However, I am not sure how it will hold up to saltwater. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hall-effect-G3-4-Flow-Water-Sensor-Meter-Digital-LCD-Display-control-/161142903824 There is this one too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Orbit-Water-Flow-Meter-New-/351883012037

Jebao's new DCP series return pumps?

Which generation of pump? I heard they have improved since the early models. Any pump can fail, even the premium ones.

Jebao's new DCP series return pumps?

Thinking of buying 2 of these 8000 model for my 120gal build. Planning to use one for my dual 3/4" returns, and the second to a manifold that feeds 2 reactors and a 1/4Hp chiller. Anyone using these pumps yet...

    Just introducing myself

I have a 125gal African Cichlid tank, and have been keeping FW for 22 years. So I can certainly appreciate the stability a larger tank offers.

    Just introducing myself

Bought a used 120gal. First saltwater tank. Lots of stuff to learn and get set up. My goal is to keep LPS and Zoa.
