i have an urchin pro, which (to me) seems very quiet. but perhaps the hob remora has a slightly different design and has noise issues. i like my urchin, though i would like more foam production...i think it should have more!

why are you selling it? upgrade?

i have a simple indoor/outdoor probe style, very very small, that seems to work fine. by that i mean it is typically within 0.5 to 1.0 degree difference than what the chiller temp is showing. I beleive i purchased it from CVS pharmacy.

mine is like a serious fire hazard atg the moment! need to move some wires around and make some clean tie-offs. Maybe mount a powerboard to the wall? I am very impressed with these setups you all have!

I don't particularly care for them. I noticed when I had one it seemed to have a shell of one sort or another in it grasp. can't afford to just feed it snails and hermits!
