Alright so on Monday I am going to order a Hamilton 250w 14000k Bulb. They claim it has an actinic blue color. Should I go with this or would it be better to put the 14k phoenix with my Hamilton setup?

I added a blue florescence light, that didn't work. The yellow over powers it. I also have a 24 gallon nano cube, and that only has two white and two blue florescence and that tank looks great. I tried putting the 250 M H over the nano with original nano lights on and the 250 M H made it look...

I got a 250 watt M H hamilton light but it makes my tank look yellow. Do I need to get a different kind of light bulb? Or should I add some blue florescent? Any ideas?

Thanks for the info. So far I think I am going to stick with a coral beauty, and a pair of true percs. I will pass on that candy basslet. Unless someone can think of a better combination of fish.

I got a new 250 watt M H for my tall 30 gallon but my filter is in the way. The stock filter covers up half of the top of the tank. I think I am going to get a different filter. Any sugestions for a nice setup?
