Welcome, you will find this is a great hobby. If you stay consistent with your maintenance (water changes, etc) you will find that it is not that hard to have a successful tank. As others have said, lots of friendly knowledgeable members so ask away. I also have the 28 gallon NC.

Welcome, I have the same tank, the HQI (metal halide). Just be patient, do a lot of research, and as others have said don't be afraid to ask questions.

I have the mj1200s as well on mine, work great.

The maxi-jet 1200s work great in the nano cube. Go to www.mediabaskets.com, they have all the upgrades for the nano cube. They make a nice media basket that blows away the stock one.
