Shouldn't the vinegar dosing be reducing my nitrate levels anyway?

Nothing, which is why I'm confused. I don't even run carbon anymore.

I've got a pair of clowns, a 6 line wrasse, 1 bangai cardinal, and a scooter blenny. I change 5 gallons every week. Cyano on everything, GHA, and random macro growing from the rocks.

I have an SCA-301 skimmer and use a filter sock. I pull thick dark green skimmate and empty the cup about once a week.

Angels are hit and miss. I missed. There are some that are considered, relatively, "reef-safe", but you take your chances with them. I never had a problem with him and soft corals or lps, only sps.
