Were they fighting, Sohals are pretty aggressive. Cyanide poisoning may have damaged their immune and digestive systems if cyanide was used to catch them. Also check your powerheads and any wires sometimes a stray voltage can give mild shocks to the fish.

I think your problem is low iodide/iodine, ive had the same problem of zoas closing and melting about a year ago, and if you research you'll find iodide helps when bright light causes the zoallanthae to over produce oxygen which irritates the zoa skin when it cannot regulate that. Your crabs...
