Good thing is that it won’t affect your live stock, but your chaeto is probably gonna take a hit. It may be different, but my chaeto died when I dosed reef flux. The meds work on GHA and byropsis, not sure on the other stuff like dinos and green bubble algae. For bubble algae try an emerald crab...

Are you using reef flux? For that it’s 1 capsule per 10 g. What brand are you using?

I heard the best thing you can do after it goes through a cycle would be to get some rubble from an established tank's sump (hopefully a clean one) and it helps speed up the seeding.

Nothing wrong with the guy. Quarantined for 3 weeks treated with Paraguard/hydrogen peroxide/rodi dipped. Trained to eat flakes and pellets. My tail spot blenny is harassing the poor dude, maybe I’ll trade him instead. Open to coral or another reef friendly fish.

I vote for Fluconazole and hydrogen peroxide to kill it back and then remove excess nutrients

It looks like a filter feeder. Like the head has feathers pulling into the head. Is it metallic looking. Turns out I have several of them, weird because I started out sterile and dipped everything 🤔
