Yellow tangs hate bryopsis and peroxide works some times, temporarily.....I had bryopsis a while back, Kent tech m worked. Now I think I'm getting bryopsis again in a diff tank but may try this new stuff as tech m is hit or miss

Like confuse mentioned, if your super paranoid about the acid clean up, use baking soda to neutralize it. Mine was fine with just the rinse/cycle/rinse

I did the same as japiscan. Cooked in acid for a day or so then rinsed it with ro then cured/cycled in salt water for a month or so then rinsed again with saltwater. Just wanted to make sure no acid made it into the tank.

Color doesn't matter in the identification of shrooms. Also, by neck I assume foot and that also is not an identifying trait.

The top was off for a couple minutes while i was putting in the new fish. I literally threw the fella in, lost him in a sand storm, and then I assume he jumped while I was putting the other fish in. I think he jumped and the cat ate him while I was distracted. never saw heard or smelled anything...

If its any consolation, after I acclimated my blue spot jawfish and put him in the dt, he was never to be seen again. Pretty sure he jumped and the cat ate him as soon as I tossed him in.
