Yep, $250 for both Tunze 6055's and controller. Not really sure what happened, had the setup sitting in a box for a few month while i was between tanks. According to Roger from Tunze, the power supplies are made in China and only last a couple years.

If my tank wasn't running I would do that. Too much headache to have to drain the tank then move it out enough to drill it. Running a hose in my house and setting up some kind of spill tray to catch the water to cool the bit. Trust me I thought about that, and an overflow box is the easiest...

I had a bad experience with the syphon breaking and my tank overflowing. The aqualifter will start CPR if my power goes out then comes back on.
