Mainly BioDigest and Microbacter7. Bio every 2 weeks and microbacter here n there 6 months is a very young tank. I dont really even consider it fully cycled then. Take your time. My current tank has been up for 7 years

Algae does grow on them but takes a long time

Do you use emarco400? I never had to cure those. 24hrs of drying and right into tank. My nutrient is around 20 nitrate and 0.2 phosphate. No diatom or algae issue tho. I keep a good mix of bacteria.
